Benjawbski Designs makes uniquely beautiful wooden coat racks, crafted from indigenous woods from Africa.

Our functional and stylish coat racks come with appropriately spaced hooks (usually 150mm between hook centres) on premium wooden boards. Racks range from compact 3-hook designs, for smaller spaces, to wide boards with 8 or more hooks, for larger rooms.

Typically used to hang coats, jackets, hats, and much more. Wood types, thicknesses, edge profiles and coat hooks vary from rack to rack, making each delightfully unique.

In short, we ship from Knysna to anywhere in South Africa (order-based shipping costs are added during check-out - required as our products are heavy by nature), OR you are welcome to collect from us on Leisure Isle by appointment (zero shipping cost). Your credit card or EFT payments are totally secure via the Payfast payment service and your order is confirmed in real time once payment is received. We do not ship internationally from our online store at present, please contact us for a custom quotation based on your intended order and international destination.

Coat Rack Installation

Mounting holes are pre-drilled beneath the first and last coat hooks.

Remove these two hooks
Position the rack and mark the wall through the holes
Drill the holes and insert wall plugs
Screw the rack firmly to the wall
Replace the coat hooks & take care not to overtighten the screws!

Product Care

These products are protected by three coats of a tough, durable, wear-and-water resistant clear interior sealer.

How to care for a Benjawbski Coat Rack:

Cleaning:
Wipe occasionally with a damp cloth. Buff with a cloth and furniture polish if the surface appears dull.
Usage:
Unless specifically stated, all products are intended for indoor use only.
